The Borneo Series draws influence from the tribal tattoo traditions of the Iban people of Borneo, where markings served not as decoration, but as protection. Symbols of experience. Records of a life lived with purpose.

Rather than recreate these traditions directly, the artwork reinterprets their forms through the lens of Kosmos. Tribal-inspired patterns weave across the fabric, concealing a face within the design itself. Watching. Protective. Predatory.
